MEET THE TEAM

  • Founder

It all begins with a vision for better physical therapy for people in the Brattleboro area. Dr. Kayla graduated from the University of Rhode Island In 2016. Since then she has worked in many places and settings across the country. She developed a passion for pelvic floor physical therapy when she started experiencing her own issues with leaking during heavy weight lifting. She recognizes the disparities in women’s health which manifested into Empowered Physical Therapy! Her practice combines her love for pelvic floor physical therapy with strong orthopedic background and strength training.

When not working to make Empowered Physical Therapy the best experience for all clients, Dr. Kayla can be found at the gym, drinking coffee, playing with her border collie- Ella, traveling, or hanging out with friends/family.

  • Lead Physical Therapist

Dr. Kaitlyn has been practicing physical therapy for 12 years! She has strong experience with manual therapy, dry needling, graston technique and postpartum corrective exercises. She comes to Empowered Physical Therapy with a passionate approach for women’s health and pelvic floor physical therapy after she had her son, George. Her first-hand experiences allow Dr. Kaitlyn to connect deeply with her patients while guiding them toward better care and physical outcomes.

When not in the clinic, Dr. Kaitlyn is found in her garden, caring for her chickens, listening to music, and hanging out with her son.

  • Ella is a 2 year old border collie and Dr. Kayla’s best friend. Ella loves to come to the clinic and hang out while putting smiles on all the faces of people who come in!

She has earned the title “employee of the month” 3 months in a row now.

When not at the clinic, Ella is found outside chasing squirrels, playing fetch, performing all her tricks, and keeping a watchful eye on her home.
